We saw the David Grisman Bluegrass Experience at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz last night. Aside from problems with the sound(bluegrass is tough to mix) the show was a true delight.

He has assembled a band of young bad ass pickers, way into the tradition. but not afraid to strech it into the Dawg realms from time to time. Good stuff.
a group of us, on peyote, had little to share with a group on marijuana

the marijuana smokers were discussing questions of the utmost profundity and we were sticking our fingers in our navels & giggling

See how I am???

Cen, Dawg Music is Dawg Grisman's fusion of multiple roots ala his old buddy Mr. Garcia. I dig both the pure grass and all the other.
