whence growing the herb MJ could i grow it to any great effect under a red light-bulb, not a fancy high-pressure sodium thinga as i heard from some vague source that plants just dig red light

Cuz i was thinking of setting up a grow-shack in my closet, tin-foil n everything

I don't believe it would work very well at all. Get a flourescent shop light if money is a concern. That is besides the other legal issues.
