It's a bad trend but he was charged with illegal importation of endangered species and supplying a drug. It's not like he was just harmlessly growing them for his own use. He must have been dealing.

An underhand tactic of the police imho.  If they were peyote then they 'could' be argued to be endangered but thats a slim possibility as they weren't taken from wild stocks im sure.  Importing cultivated cacti is not illegal, it's just an excuse they use to bust his house.  Dried cacti so far has not been prosecuted in this country...we will eagerly awat the outcome, again its another sign of police state activity.  Dried cacti is not illegal and to stretch the law to outlaw it in its current state will be outrageous,...i hope this case enver makes it to court however with the way things are going in this country nothing surprises me.
