Well with the -cetams, you want to take a break after about a month or two of a week to two weeks.  You can check :

nice link Rhodo,

I've been finding my nootropic info at 1fast400  (I'd post a link, but it's a semi-commercial site.)

10 grams a day is a huge amount. I would cut back soon as you started feeling something. It sort of sneaks up on you, it's not something obvious until you know what it is and then you can feel it easy. I take one day a week off from noots. It seems to work.

Yeah, I cut back to 1.5-2grams a day..... the 10 was just a successfull attempt at initial loading.  I haven't taken a day off yet, but it sounds like a good idea to skip the weekends for sure.

On a side note, I've sure noticed I can't drink as much coffee as  I normally do...... it just seems too easy to get over stimulated with the overall stack I've got going.  I get so stimulated with the addition of coffee, I just about have to about go take a nap.   :D

Yes, it seems to make other drugs more effective. Wait until you are listening to some music and slip into a state close to extacy. You may think you discovered a great new group until you see it's one you heard before. Wait until you have a conversation and are able to think of all the things on the spot that you usually don't think of until later. It helps hand eye coordination, helps with multitasking, etc. You will notice your mood improve overall. You can still get in a bad mood if you allow events to get to you but it tends to make you enjoy the moment. It will still be kicking in for months.

Ive been told that people who don't get much reaction at higher doses of piracetam, like over a couple grams, should try smaller doses. Sometimes larger doses make the person sleepy or feel nothing. Small doses even as small as 100mg sometimes work better for them. Those who got very little from it should try smaller amounts.

After taking piracetam for a while now, I'd say that statement is pretty right on.  I find that all true, particularly the part about making drugs more effective.  I find I'm markedly more sensative to just about everything.  Coffee, alchohol, exc.  I think this stuff is a winner.

All right! :D Glad to hear it worked out for you. Piracetam is definately a winner. Do you still get the stoned feeling? I'm kind of used to it after all this time but it's there in the background. It's wierd to feel stoned yet your memory is good and you are able to talk well and function well. Kind of the opposite of what we usually associate with a stoned feeling. Give it a try folks.

I don't think I've ever really noticed much of that.  I mean, I'm kinda usually out there anyways, so maybe I'm not really in tune for it.  But I've read reports from others observations on different boards about that same thing with piracetam.

just a quick note, just because its called a nootropic, doesnt mean its safe, in theory it should be but there arnt always appropriate PEER REVIEWED toxicological data oon substances, esp new ones....
also because there is no regulation on what can be called a nootropic, ive seen GHB listed as a nootropic before.. just be sure to do the research before trying anything new.. but same goes for pharmas too..

i know im sounding like an old man, preaching the most obvious, but wouldnt want to see anyone hurt themselves unintentionally..

piracetam looks interesting, may have to look into it..

Piracetam has been tested for 40 some years and has no toxicity. It seems to work best with a choline source. Seems to work for me.

Quote from: "Stonehenge"Piracetam is great stuff. Some of those smart drugs are good, some are not so good. It depends on the person, I think, but piracetam is gold. It makes everything better.

since i got on this forum this morning, i took 1600 of piracetam, and some ginko.
