Can I be removed from the member list?

With all due respect to the powers that be who ever they are, I would like to ask that since this site is no longer dedicated to legal entheogens, can my name and all information about me be removed from the data files?

I really enjoyed my time spent with this site, but I guess it's true what they say, all things must come to an end.

Btw self-incrimination on spf has never been permitted. And, luckily, the u$ gubmint has never made the sharing of information to be illegal. As we are operating as always, I have a difficult time understanding your original comment, hedon, concerning the site no longer being dedicated solely to "legal" entheogens.

pretty standard spiel........ except for the age thing.  I'm sure the old site worded things better, but it's takes time to start from scratch.  I bet if it's really objectional, a new one could be written up by the person who sticks their neck out the farthest...... and I'm sure, the deeper it gets, the more complicated it is.

Seems like every time I take a break for a day or two, that I come back to find some chaos brewing...I wonder if its part and parcel of having a somewhat 'new' perspective...  At any rate, I do not have a particular axe to grind concerning the age or MJ issue....  I'd imagine this site will progress into a place alot like the 'ole homestead, SPF...  Seems a logical assumption as the place is populated by the ole crowd etc....Truly peeps, SPF was far and away my fave spot in cyberville...I can see both sides of the debate concerning MJ, incriminatory remarks, yadda yadda...Since each place in the electronic etherea takes on its own character, I assume this spot will surely do likewise...  Most of the folks around here have honed the 'tools' of legalistic dancing around, and are still quite capable of getting their points across without blatantly crossing the always arbitrary line...  This 'dissension among the ranks' really troubles me though...  To my mind, we have become somewhat of a 'family'...  let us be tactful and understanding of one another.............  senorsal

I thought I already said it in this thread, but here it is again.

13 is NOT the age limit here

An age limit was never set. The thing you see about being 13 is a legal requirement that was added by phpBB. The FTC requires anyone below the age of 13 to get permission before giving out private information. It is also the legal requirement of the site to ask if the user is under 13.

"Websites that are collecting information from children under the age of thirteen are required to comply with Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ) Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)." ( http://www.coppa.org/ )

Soon, it will be removed though once all the configuration and disclamer is worked out as the age for registration should be variable depending on jurisdiction. We dont want to be forced to only allow 21 under. do we?
