Just to confirm, there is no longer any MJ forum. It was added for a brief period of time but after much, much discussion has since been removed. Problem solved.

Regarding the 13 year old age limit. As Nitro has mentioned it is the default setting of the software (phpBB) which was not changed as this place has only been online for a week or two. Since its been brought to my attention (understatement) it has now been changed to 18. Problem solved.

Things are still evolving and we can expect the odd hickup along the way as we get things sorted out so theres no point getting upset. If you see a problem just raise a post about it in a mature and sensible way and we can discuss it as a community before implementing a solution.

Peace..

Oh, I'll put on some earl grey tea for all those who are outraged.

Do some of you really feel so strongly about an MJ forum?  Is it better to not disseminate information?  Most of what is discussed in forums like this one is questionable in the eye of the law.  As for trades, you are fully rersposible and in control of what and with whom you trade.  If you don't want to trade- DON'T.

Really, get a grip.  IMHO maybe you should reinstate the MJ forum and dismember those who prefer earl grey tea

I will keep my mouth shut on this matter, other than to say it's great to see we've got drama already. :(

edit: Thank You andy.

LW, why do you presume all these things go on inchat?
Its a great place for discussion but I agree that the forum is the main thing, and always have. If you had ever been in our chatroom you would have heard me constantly advise that it is the chat for www.spiritplants.com.
I always ask new people if they are members and i encourage chatters to post and C&P topics from the site to discuss.
In fact, it has been an effort to keep the chat 'spiritplants' related, as nitro will confirm but we have given it our best.
I never wanted haste in any of the matters concerning this new place, and i have said this repeatedly. I have am consequently taking offence from your comments about my having 'thrown this plan together'.
If i make a plan, i am painstakingly careful and never throw things together, its just not in my triple-virgo nature to do so.
All the time i am calling for discussion and consensus thru this forum.

Nitro says he feels like he's been moved to the back of the bus ... but but...
whenever i've needed a driver ... its always been nitro i've looked to;
he's the uber-geek .. the brains .. the MAN.. and i want him back as our admin.

Even if there was an erb forum, what the hell does it matter?
Talking about something illegal is not in the so called “free world” considered to be illegal, is it? Even in that Banana republic they call America?

LW...I know the answer to that one.
It was a rhetorical question.

There is a difference, and a standard to uphold.

I value difference of opinion,'but if 'one' individ. thinks it best I go if a Mj forum is instituted,I will go. I didn`t know before that the site more belonged to 'somebody' , for a position  they held.

That for whatever reason, put them on some kind of higher ground.

My attitude before was simply avoid the forum, unless that wasn`t good enough, for legal reasons.

     Dismembered.... Yeah,I think so.

Having some difficulty making sense of that last post cj.

I don't think anyone really wants anybody to leave. I know I don't.

If you could clarify...

I`m sorry(in the figurative sense) for I`m jus contributing to the noise, but there was a allusion made about those who essentially don`t like the idea of a cirtain forum could very well 'dismember' themselves, go satisy themselves with some kind of tea,as if they had no value because of their stance on legality.

I personally consider Marijuana to be at least a potential visionary substance, but there is so much damned bagage, and sites about it,I did not feel the need for another. Especially here.

And like a kid, when somebody alluding that those who did not like it could 'dismember'oneself,I reacted to the line being drawn in the sand.At the age of 53,I can still be that way, instead of jus saying that`s wrong.

I prolly will never change, and this stuff is mild anyway compared to my real life,...at times.

Of course, there is a little bit more on my mind, and I should shut up now. Andy`s done his job,and let`s hope no more 'Easter eggs'drop out of Chat,as already stated and very well covered.

I do apologize for my negativity, but not so sure about apologizing for my stance. Kind of doubt that anyone else is.

You should definately not apologize for your stance.

My original post concerning the MJ forum also pointed out the fact that there are many boards already devoted to it. I understand your concern and share it to some degree. I don't want to see the theme or vibe of our site to change either, but I have to admit I was a little excited when I saw that forum pop up. But I also didn't want to see the baggage that would have gone along with it. In the end I think the best decision was made.

Mostly I just wanted to know what the heck you were trying to say. Thanks for clearing that up, cj. :)

sorry bout that double post earlier. woops!
