Hi all!

I am currently trying to get a psychotria viridis in my collection.

Which lighting mix do you use for it?
Number hours of light?

Other tips??? And so on?

They like shade rather than direct sun. They like high humidity if possible. I have lots of fresh psychotria berries from my plants. Make me an offer. I also have a rooted cutting.

How can you tell when the berries are ripe? Mine has many, but I don't know if they're ready for germination.

When they get a deep red they are ready. Purple means they are a little overripe but still good.

I got mine growing under flourescents... about 14 hrs of lite... no added humidity... had it outside all summer in the sun (Zone 5)... did well....many flowers.... few berries....
