i dream quite often of being in large buildings, endless rooms and corridors, often on the run from unseen enemies, mazes, endlessly confusing...recent one was during some kind of apocalypse that had destroyed most of what was around and was pursuing the rest...even more recent was one of buying a large old building with a performance theatre in it where i planned to put on plays...and this building somehow devolved into the familar complex of corridors and doors...i've wondered if i could lucidly dream any of these, i might understand their intent, if any...

Intersestingly, I too have been having big-building dreams as of late. They aren't stressful dreams -- no pursuit -- but they are incomprehesible. They seem to be full of import and symbolism, but I just can't figure out what the symbolism may mean, if anything.

I have variations of that endless corridor.  Looking for something, I left in "the other room" but I go from room to room getting distracted by things going on and in the dream I know I'm supposed to be going to get "something" but I never get to the room where it is....

Going somewhere, all packed up I start out but I wind up someplace different and then I try to retrace my steps to see where I made the wrong turn and it takes me off to another place and I know I have to leave to get to the place I was supposed to go to and something is always distracting me.....

Sometimes it's the one where I'm supposed to go to a party and I keep changing my clothes and nothing fits and I change my haircolor or cut my hair and nothing is right and by the time I get to the party I keep looking for the people I am supposed to be with and I go from room to room and people keep distracting me but I know I'm in the wrong room or maybe it's the wrong party so I leave and keep looking but the parties get wierder  and the food they serve is strange and there are no utensils so while I'm looking for those, I wind up in a bedroom and boy......

The worst is when I'm trying to find a bathroom and when I get there, the toilets are broken or its a room full of people all using toilets I have no privacy and I keep looking and I go to different rooms and there's another reason why it's the wrong place.  Finally I wake up and realize I BETTER GO NOW!
