* Featured Classic Rock Album: Billy Joel, *The Bridge* (1986) . . . I was such a obsessive fan of BJ's 1970s work when I was young . . . but by when this album came out, I felt like his music, while still great, had moved away from me . . . then happened to see a disparaging review of this album recently, & decided to give it a long overdue second chance . . . it's really good! end to end . . . the best of the best is his duet with Ray Charles, "Baby Grand," but it's just fine every song . . . nice to really get it . . .
