This show has featured many albums by this brilliant English rock band, but this one reaches farther back than previously, into their post-punk early days as a quartet . . . the sound is far less Beatlesque but there's a musical firepower that is the same . . . these boys obsess in & around & over & through every lyric, every chord . . . equally brilliant at the serious & the silly . . . great album . . .
