On this week's show:

* Featured New Rock Album: Junip, *Junip* (2013) . . . Junip is a Swedish indie rock band & this is their second LP . . . it's a melancholy album, slow & pretty at times, but then it rocks out . . . lyrically dark & passionate . . . like one of those long strange nights in a dark club, where the music is sweet & sometimes weird, & you think about that night for a long time thereafter . . .

* Featured Classic Rock Album Redux: Love, *Forever Changes* (1967) . . . last played album on 11/5/2005 broadcast (almost 10 years to the day!) . . . there's no album quite like this one, with its combination of pretty trippy rocking songs, horns & strings, surreal, paranoid, psychedelic lyrics . . . Per Wikipedia: "The title of the album came from a story that Lee had heard about a friend-of-a-friend who had broken up with his girlfriend. She exclaimed, 'You said you would love me forever!," and he replied, 'Well, forever changes.'"

* Storybook Time*: Continuing Chapter 44 of *The Acid Diaries: A Psychonaut's Guide to the History & Use of LSD* by Christopher Gray. . .

* Readings from *Labyrinthine* fixtion & *Many Musics* poems & *Bags End News* . . . & this week's featured artist is Norah Jones & some of the great songs from her 2002 debut album, *Come Away With Me* . . . November is my favorite month of the year, with its big grey clouds & colored leaves everywhere . . . ending time of year, without actually being over, so time still to ponder, & act . . .

On this week's show:

* Featured New Rock Album: Saintseneca, *Such Things* (2015) . . . This Ohio indie rock band is back with another great record, not sounding quite like anyone else, & really good for what they are . . . sweet, potent, inspired on every track on this new LP . . .

* Featured Classic Rock Album Redux: Bill Wilson, *Ever Changing Minstrel* (1973) . . . The story of this Indiana singer-songwriter is that he showed up on the doorstep of Bob Johnston, Bob Dylan's producer, asking for an audition . . . somehow this led to an album, & the album is brilliant . . . a folk-rock masterpiece lost over the years . . . give a listen, it's wonderful . . .

* Storybook Time*: Chapter 45 of *The Acid Diaries: A Psychonaut's Guide to the History & Use of LSD* by Christopher Gray. . .

* Readings from *Labyrinthine* fixtion & *Many Musics* poems & *Bags End News* . . . & this week's featured artists are some of the great ones from the "American Top 40 with Casey Kasem" countdown of 11.November.1978 . . . it was 1981 this weekend when a pretty girl raised my hopes for a bit, though it didn't last but a couple of days . . . still, I remember, & view the path back from here to there . . . hope she's well tonight, I did OK too with the girl who stayed . . .

On this week's show:

* Featured New Rock Album: The Wood Brothers, *Paradise* (2015) . . . Brothers Chris & Oliver Wood, & their friend Jano Rix, have the most bluesy Americana band around . . . their songs are weighty things, whether lighter or darker in theme . . . playing is peerless, lyrics can be weird, funny, sentimental . . . a great new LP by them . . . by the way, Chris also plays in the brilliant jazz-rock-fusion trio Medeski, Martin, & Wood . . . once, while living in Seattle, I went to see MMW live, & got the bonus of seeing the Wood Brothers open for them . . . some nights are just good . . .

* Featured Classic Rock Album: Al Stewart *Time Passages* (1978) . . . This album by the Scottish-born Stewart begins with its wonderful title track, & then digs further into its twisted historical tales, philosophical ruminings, & then waters even further down . . . lovely, tough record . . .

* Storybook Time*: Continuing Chapter 45 of *The Acid Diaries: A Psychonaut's Guide to the History & Use of LSD* by Christopher Gray. . .

* Readings from *Labyrinthine* fixtion & *Many Musics* poems & *Bags End News* . . . & this week's featured artists are more of the great ones from the "American Top 40 with Casey Kasem" countdown of 11.November.1978 . . . twas 12 years ago that my show jumped online, thanks to SpiritPlants Radio . . . then 7 years ago, having no choice, I took over the station & started building it into what it is now . . . a labor of love & Art for many . . . thank you to all who have joined in, & make this station more than my show & a lot dead air . . . 24/7, as it should be :)
