It's funny how things work

in a quick twist of a phrase
or a wrist
or a nod at the tip
of a sideways glance
and secret handshakes
with thumbs pressed intently
between knuckles tight

some things are just better left

yes they sure are
in gaping glairing gaps
and spaces between between
left in refrain or at the bequest
purposefully realized
and thankfully blessed

spaces

with tortilla chips all over the floor
for days and days and days
tasting in flavors of suprise and mental haze

impossible is just a word yah know
unlike the chips on my floor
cashed in and down or as they lay

just a silly word, enflected and purposefull
bridled and sane
polished to a fine grain
but still the chips remain
impossible

your day will come..... chips

Untill then here's to strawberry wine
along outside the garage
where the sun kisses the moon
and the frogs left unlicked
glisten and perfume the air with

croak..... ribbet....
