What makes an experience "spiritual?"

I think my psychedelic ranger days are in the past, but I never say never.

Set and setting my friend, as I have got older the time and the place become the deciding factor. I have several mature peyote. I know what they are capable of and the possible impact that will have on my psychology. Im not going to do that to get off my face, Im going to do that to get that "spiritual" experience, tap into the secret knowledge, achieve buddha mind.

It has to be the right time, place, people or it wont have its intended effect.

When I was 21 I would take anything, anytime, anywhere. Not now. Thats the difference I think. Not that your ranger days are over, more that you know whats out there (courtesy of the sacrements) and your simply being more choosy.

Back in the day I'd trip on anything. Not now, only in a naturally occuring form for its historically intended purpose.

So, with all that in mind is there any wonder we indulge so infrequently.
