Twisty Baby Black Locust - Robinia psudoacacia

Robinia pseudoacacia grows fine throughout most of the US.  

Some people consider it an invasive pest tree,  and im not sure but maybe the honey made from it is poisonous?     I guess the flowers are fragrant which attract the bees.

It is a legume and in this natural park where I live you can find the seedpods everywhere.  

I wouldn't buy seeds from anyplace online since I can find it growing wild myself.  

It is kind of cool since it has the sharp spines coming right out of the bark itself, no wonder it is called pseudoacacia.

dogbane: The twisty black locust is a specific mutation of the mentioned species found on a single specimen and then propagated.
