Just wanted to keep everyone updated with a couple of the changes I've made. All changes have focused on
bringing more traffic to the forum and ranking spiritplants higher with the search engines.

One modification creates a sitemap for Google, Yahoo and MSN search engines.
After creating these I submitted them to the search engines for indexing. This was done in the middle of May and since then
Google and a couple other search engines have been crawling/indexing the site steadily. I have also noticed that with certain
searches, we are showing up very near the top of the results. Hopefully with time, this will be even more apparent with any
search. For those of you who have noticed, this is the modification that changed the RSS feed. There can be significant
positive results with the search engines if I can get this working the way I want so, please be patient if the feed isn't quite
what it used to be. If I can get it working correctly, it will have all the functionality it had before and more. :-)

I've also installed a mod that creates some pages with links to many different keywords within the site. Just another
tweak to help with page ranking in Google.

Update: Made another change that gives the forum dynamic meta tags. This will possibly also help with some search engines.
This also broke the RSS feed..... :?

Here is a link to the old RSS feed if you can't wait a day for the fix
Warning- I will be removing that old RSS feed once I have the new one working correctly.

Please let me know if you have any concerns or suggestions.
Thanks!

Keep up the good work. We are lucky to have someone knowledgeable in those areas. Andy doesn't really have time to do everything. I have noticed more traffic lately.

I haven't been getting the "invalid session" message lately. Maybe I just have been getting lucky or some tweak did the job.

great work, Kemp, we need more site traffic and you are doing what's needed...

now if we can just get the radio on air 24/7 for when people hit that link up there...then we can make the link bigger like the chat one!
