Lets kick off this new forum with a swap. I have lots of different seeds to trade besides cactus so if you don't see what you want, just ask. I'm looking for other ethno seeds, herbs and plants. Rare stuff is nice or if your plant gave you a bunch of seeds I'm sure we can work something out.

Wanna add some A. fissuratus to your cacti list? If so I've got about twenty or thirty to let go of.

Stoney-
how quickly does hoodia grow and what are the best germinating conditions?
I am interested in trading for some hoodia seeds.

Varja, I think i just got some of those in but if not, I'd be interested.

Hey, cat, glad to see you found us. Hoodia is a slow growing plant but it is about as fast or a little faster than pedro. To germ, just put them about 1/8" down in soil and keep moist. Most will sprout in from 3 days to a week, a few may take longer. It likes it warm, I'm not sure how much cold it can take, probably not freezing. It likes indirect light when young. Treat it like a lopho and you won't go wrong. It hates wet soil all the time.
