My neighbour sounds
like an air raid siren
'
that first familiar blast
the punch in my stomach
riddled with fear
as war response
goosebumps my body
gathering the children
awakening the dreaming
calculating water
navigating location

As neighbour sirens roll
again and again
breathing noisier than chant
"it's alright. it's okay"

plastic chairs line up for duty
scraped over concrete walks
while drones patrol the skies

walkie-talkies shoot out from bushes
guns come out from hiding
morning breaks into khaki stance

My neighbour calls it quits
she coughs her air raid last
and all's still in stand-up mockery

Yeah, Judih, keep your head down and your feet up. You and yours are in our thoughts and hearts.
a group of us, on peyote, had little to share with a group on marijuana

the marijuana smokers were discussing questions of the utmost profundity and we were sticking our fingers in our navels & giggling

Its party season on the prairie. The local roma clan invited over the roasted pepper people. And a few olives snuck along for a ride in the basil mobile. I caught them having an orgie in a bowl of oil and vinegar this morning. "Gheesh, get a fridge," I said....

Lost my boots in transit, babe,
smokin\' pile of leather.
Nailed a retread to my feet
and prayed for better weather...

yesh, sure. but you know how things get when balsamic gets into the mix

p.s. The Army were the epitome of cool. Those nasty settlers were hurtling acid and hot oil on them, and the army took it and silently did their jobs.

It's almost over. Bad for me - it means that school will start on time.
and looks like i missed it all.

life goes on in the fast vegetable aisle.

Yeah haven't heard about the acid bit, but there has been some somewhat unflattering news footage depictions of the settlers here in the states as of late....... though I suppose it could be worse...... and I'm sure most of the responses by the settlers I've seen have been at least semi-nonviolent.

I wonder what that wierd dye the military is hosing people down with on roof tops is about........ least it's not the brown note machine I guess.

Religous fanatisism sure brings the ugly on. Toss that with power politics and light sweet crude oil and throw that on an inbred texas bar-b-cue.

Glad you're safe, Sistah, as safe as any of us are.

Hard to be optimistic about this world.

yeah that's a good one.

religious fanaticism sure brings the ugly on.

what to do with that small percentile of way off the deep enders? How to neutralize the damage? the shock effect?

Does it take a spirit plants refuge to nullify the ooze of confused extremists?
