a group of us, on peyote, had little to share with a group on marijuana

the marijuana smokers were discussing questions of the utmost profundity and we were sticking our fingers in our navels & giggling

Oh! I wish I was there to meet up.. But... Denmark is a bit far. So can't really pop into the place.
I wish you a good time tho!

It really wasn't what I expected. it wasn't a rodeo, it was more a gathering of poets, history buffs, lovers of legend plus a few working cowboys. Not one horse in site, just a bunch of nice, thoughtful, soulfull people having a great time.

One of the other performers was Sourdough Slim, the last vaudeville cowboy. Funny, funny man, like Will Rodgers meets W.C. Fields. Sample Sourdough: "Sometimes I think I would like to be the last man on earth................ to find out if all those women were lying."

Or: "I got stuck in my hotel room for 4 hours. I get in there and there are 3 doors, one to the bathroom, one to a closet and one had a do not disturb sign on it, I didn't know what to do"
