I know people in South America (in fact, someone who has a good crop of chaliponga growing in his garden) who say they've never seen chaliponga grown successfully from seed. Do you have protocols that you know to be effective in starting the plants from seed?  What does 90% viability mean in this case? 90% will sprout, or 90% will end in viable, established plants?
