growing ipecac

I was thinking ipecac (Psychotria ipecacuanha) would make a good house plant since I heard in the wild it is a slow growing plant.  

Im pretty sure it would tolerate shade very well since most tropical Rubiaceae are understory shrubs or trees.

What does anyone else think?

If you were experienceing nausea you could drink some and you know... get it over with!

How would you use it and in what dosage?
