This just noted yesterday....  Seems the guy that runs the DMT-Nexus site popped into a Euro entheo site yesterday and reported the soon to be return of D-Nex....  He stated that the recent shut down was not due to any sort of governmental shut down/censorship effort, etc, but that the place got hit by a heavy virus attack and that when he launched anti-virus ware, that the virus ate all the files..  He says he will have the site back up in less than a week, using a back up cache stored remotely from main server.....   Sounds cool to me. 'course, I gotta ask myself if'n some governmental entity did not send such a highly corrupting virus in the first place....................

Do you really think the government cares that much? Seems like they'd go after the shroomery if anybody...

Well, lets put it this way...  If we are to assume that the goverments actually do have people surfing entheo sites,  what's to prevent some computer savvy governmental flunky from sending a malicious hacker attack just for the hell of it???  Gotta get boring sitting around that drab guv office all day...  Imagine a hack, and then the guy gets to sit back and monitor the response on sites, the speculation, the possible paranoia, etc....  Hell, seems like a passable way to spend the time while draing some government paycheck....

Why the Shroomery???  At the end of the day, those lil shrooms are just a tad more benign than peeps sitting around with flasks of volatile chems, doing extractions and concentrations down to some crystalline powder...

Stop extracting?

How about just stop talking about it in public?

Lost my boots in transit, babe,

Nailed a retread to my feet
and prayed for better weather...

Hacker groups have targeted DMT sites since damn near the beginning of the internet!

DMTWORLD was hacked like 80 bagillion times, or so.  I am quite glad to hear the nexus is back up ;)

Hopefully it won't be down long!!!

Teotzlcoatl - Enough of the double posting. Almost 1/3 of your posts are in the same thread within 2-3 mins of each other.
If you wish to add to your post within an hour or two of posting and nobody has replied since, just edit your first one.
And please settle down with the language too. Sometimes is fine but you seem to say whatever is right on the tip of your tongue without thinking at all.

More on topic - The-Traveler was the last I knew of who ran Nexus. He used to stop in to the chat semi-often though, have only seen him once in a while lately.

No worries... not trying to be someones uptight parent by any means. Just asking for a little self moderation.

Thanks  :baby-taptap:

I've not been online in nearly a week.  (relocation issues), but the last time I checked 'NEX', I got the usual access denied-unavailable text..  That said;  I scrolled down a couple three entries and took a chance on hitting a cached portion..  To my surprise I was taken to 'NEX' and the date and postings were current to the hour....  Not being very net savvy I have no idea what that all means, but it worked for me....

Thanks Stony...  I am now at at place that is about 4 miles from the Library, so weather will play a hand in my susequent visits now...  Then there is the new wrinke that library administration put into effect.  That being they now only allow one 1 hour net session a day, whereas they were allowing two sessions...
