Anyone know what this cactus is?

This isn't a "spiritcactus", but since I don't know any other cactus enthusiasts...

Does anyone know what kind of cactus this is? I was at my parents' this last weekend, and my mom said she got it from a friend of hers. Neither of them know what it is. It's probably about 3-4 inches tall in this picture.

that's not a cactus, it's a succulent. it looks like some kind of haworthia, probably haworthia reinwardtii var chalumnensis. it's in the asphodeliaceae family. they throw up neat little white flowers on thin stalks.
