Hillary did an interview with a newspaper in my old stomping grounds the other day. (Argus leader from Sioux Falls SD.) When asked why she continued a losing effort, her response was that Bobby kennedy was assassinated in June so its too early for her to get out of the race.

New Hampshire, first in nation, wasn't until March 12. Kennedy didn't even get into running until March 16. By June 4, 1968, date of California primary, there had only been 13 primaries... Kennedy was killed on June 5...

Hmmm, really an odd comment...  I mean, yep, we are all used to spin, the occasional illogical turn of phrase, let alone outright obfuscation and or lies from the parade of politicos;  that said,  I'm wondering if her statement was  her symbolically stating that she sees herself as a tragic figure, about to be rendered unable to ultimately be able to use her powers to affect the change she is striving for....  I mean I can dig it that there has to be a sort of grandiose ego involved  with anyone that runs for the highest office in the land, but jeez louise, Hillary comparing herself to the Bobby that championed for civil rights, that hamstrung and brought low the evils of the FBI.....    To sloppily paraphrase an old Reaganism:::  Hillary gal, You 'Aint No Bobby :roll:

But I see it more as a freudian slip. There are very few scenarios right now that lead to Hillary winning the nomination. Someone offing Obama is one of her best chances right now. And the way it sounds Obama has been getting a lot of threats that he's kept out of the media for whatever reason.
