salvia and heat

has anyone had problems with keeping there salvia in a hot room and it destroying the salvinorin? i left my salvia and alot of other random herbs in a box in my attic for storage and forgot about em being up there and some severe heat waves came through they stayed up there for a few weeks before i realized i left em up there, but has anyone had problems with heat before?
