Ward man accidentally hanged himself

Man found dead at Boulder Co. pot-growing lab

A man found dead earlier this month in his home in Ward accidentally hanged himself, according to the Boulder County Coroner.

Mark Glaholt, 58, was found dead in his home on Aug. 7. The coroner recently ruled that he died of asphyxia due to hanging. When questioned how the man accidentally hanged himself, the coroner said the details are not public record.

Boulder County sheriff's deputies and the Boulder County Drug Task Force says it is investigating Glaholt's death because they found 85 marijuana plants growing inside his home.

Maybe he hung himself during some auto-erotic sex action, but who knows?

There have been quite a few growers winding up dead in the denver area as of late. My guess is that this trend is more a function of the number of gardeners in the area than anything, but this one reminded me a little of what apparently, accidentally happened to toostoned...
