The Trade Winds / Plants/Seeds/Dried Matter, Etc.
June 27, 2007, 03:34:00 PM
Alright, I have an abundant garden with much to spare. Sorry that I've been inactive for awhile, very busy, but if I owe anyone anything, please let me know. Some things I will trade for are contam-free, manure-based substrate edible fungi grow bags, or some Pedicularis flowers, and possibly a digital scale that measures to the hundredths place or equivelant to a milligram... Might take something else in trade, so it won't hurt to ask. As for what I've got, here's at it:

Half ounce or so of homegrown klip dagga (leonotis nepetifolia)foliage. These leaves typically rival any vendor Wild Dagga flowers (Leonotis leonurus) at least in my, and a few others, opinion(s).

A bunch of random herbs, including samples of N. rustica, Lobelia inflata, Datura stramonium, Betel nut, S. divinorum, celea zacatechichi, mullein, wormwood, and kanna. Some are homegrown, some are vendor. Inquire for amounts and prices.

For seeds, I've got: (again, inquire for amounts and prices.
Acacia bailyana
Cotton
Yucca
Hyoscymus niger
Banana
Nymphaea caerulera
Brugmansia candida
Atropa belladonna
Tagetes lucida
Silene capensis
Mixed hot peppers
Sinicuichi
Datura stramonium
Cytisus scoparius

For live plants:
[image]/forums/files/07-26/288199274-thumb_loser_012.jpg[/image]
A year+ old Mimosa scabrella. Was at once 3 ft. tall, but I trimmed it back to keep it as an indoor bush. Is now about 1'6" (1 1/2 ft.) in size.

[image]/forums/files/07-26/288178172-thumb_loser_008.jpg[/image]
A couple scotch broom seed grown plants.

[image]/forums/files/07-26/288178152-thumb_loser_005.jpg[/image]
Freshly rooted kanna clones. I'll part with all but 3 of these you see in the photo.

[image]/forums/files/07-26/288178144-thumb_loser_004.jpg[/image]
Some seed grown russian olive trees. Can only part with a few. The bark contains high amounts of harmaline and is useful as an ayahuasca admixture as an MAOI. It can be overwintered in temperate regions. Easier to cultivated and more useful than either P. harmala, P. incarnata, or even B. caapi for these reasons, especially in colder climates.

[image]/forums/files/07-26/288178136-thumb_loser_001.jpg[/image]
Here's a pereskiopsis cutting. The T. bridgesii next to it is no longer for sale. Sorry buds.

Some plants I have that are not pictured (but can obtain photos if necessary) are:

Seed grown Leonotis nepetifolia (Klip Dagga), between 6-10 inches tall. I've also got some larger ones nearing on 2 ft.

And for some very interested folks, I've got some Baybean (Canavalia maritima) plants growing, doing very well, actually. This is one of the mysterious consituents of the Spice and Spice gold blends. A note interest too, I finally found seeds for, and I'm growing the Machonca brava (the other main Spice ingredient). They're too small to send yet though. I'll get back to you all soon with some.

I've got 10 or so Celea zacatechichi clones, doing very nicely.

I've got 4 flowering patchouli clones as well.

I can also head out into the woods and gather up some Scutellaria laterifolia (Skullcap) plants if anyone wants them. And a more potent variety of Skullcap (Scutellaria galericulata) will be along soon, and I'll let you know. Tell me if you'd be interested.

That's all I can think of for now, except a lot of random herbs I am growing (mint, sage, motherwort, lavendar, datura, henbane, belladonna, california poppy, and a few others.)

Other than plant-related items I am still doing custom made hemp necklaces with fimo beads. You choose the size, the tie, and the type and color of beads. Very versatile and can do nice work. Ask for photos. Bracelets, belts, and anklets available too.

I also do custom hand-made wooden/antler pipes, and fimo clay pipes. As well as padded pipe bags, satchels, medicine pouches, etc.

PM me.

The Trade Winds / Pedicularis
April 29, 2007, 03:58:13 PM
Hey friends... pedicularis season is here, and if anyone has a good source of wild specimens, please help me out. Looking mainly for flowers, but will take entire dried plants, save the roots. I know they grow wild all over, but have yet to find 'em here. Peace and thanks!

The Medicine Lodge / Hey
February 28, 2007, 04:45:13 PM
I've had this happen too... though the effects were slight, they were noticable. Most body purifyers work with the liver and kidneys, thus purifying the blood, and toxins already built up in these organs. I assume that the effects are felt because of the body is trying to fight off these toxins, and while in the midst some get released back into the bloodstream. Any psychoactive substances, medications, and food additives would be released in miniscule amounts I would assume. I am only guessing here, but it seems logical.

The Trade Winds / ...
February 27, 2007, 02:25:34 PM
I'm in the USA. I've got rare plants because I spent so long collecting them only to realize I didn't need to grow them all, nor did I have the space to. Now I'm trying to downsize to only cold-hardy allies, as well as medicinals, fruits, and veggies which I failed to collect previously. Basically, I have no use for most of the seeds I have, and I'd make a lot more use out of fresh veggies and medicines.
