If somebody was going to smoke an MAOI would they need to follow the same strict diet as if they took it orally?

Yeah, and I have also heard that pests will boost alkaloid levels, so no worries, just let it dry completely before you stick it back in the ground.

The Rain Forest / Are Caapi leaves active?
August 04, 2007, 05:37:01 PM
I've heard of them used in a smoking mixture with acacia extract, but was simply wondering wether I should save the leaves I plucked off my cuttings.

The Rain Forest / Modesto, CA, the land of Datura!
July 24, 2007, 09:53:06 PM
(Warning Datura is a deadly poison, not a fun high!)
I was doing a job in modesto today off Highway 99 and couldn't believe how much datura is growing there, it's on the side of the freeway, on the street corners, even growing around a church!  I have never seen such a high concentration of datura plants in one place.  I grabbed several ripe seed pods and I think they were datura wrightii due to the immense size of the flowers, and lack of smell, so if anyone would like to grow a couple hit me up, I've got a ton of seeds!

The Rain Forest / Poor mans rooting chamber
July 22, 2007, 09:10:09 PM
I absolutely can not take credit for this, it's just an adaptation of the poor mans pod from the PF Tek but it works almost as good as a bubbler and I thought some people here might like it.

Cut a two liter bottle right where it starts to taper in.  Add about a tablespoon of water to the bottom, so it's just underneath the ribs and not going to be soaking your pot.  Put a small pot with your clone of choice inside and put the top back on.  Every other day or so unscrew the cap and blow into the top to exchange air.  I have had wonderful results with this and the best part is it's free!

These things are EASY to germinate, sorry you must have got some bad seeds, PM me if you might wanna trade for some or something, I have mine in a half wine barrel and its gotten pretty bushy in just 3 months, nothing special just stirred in some steer manure into potting soil and watered about twice a week.

thanks for the info, I'm not sure if alcohol would be goods enough for the extraction, I guess I could do a pull, but I don't know if it's worth it.

The Desert / Doping with mucuna pruriens extract?
July 20, 2007, 12:24:24 AM
I have a well growing mucuna pruriens plant which reportedly contains a very small amount of dmt and high concentrations of L-dopamine  I was wondering on you're opinion of making a simple alcohol extract to "dope" my trich's (and maybe even my bishops cap).  I don't really feel like going through the A/B pull just for fertilizer, what do you guys think?
