unfortunately, i live in an apartment building, so planting outside is impossible. also, i know miraclegro works okay, it's what i used to use, but i'd prefer to use natural fertilizers rather than chemical ones.
what i've since found out is that brugs like nitrogen most, then phosphorus, then potassium. so i bought some fish emulsion oil (5-1-1), and will fertilize with it every 2 weeks.

Brugs are heavy feeders. MiracleGro works fine. It's all I use. Brug's roots don't like to be confined all that much. If you can, I would suggest that you plant your brugs out in the summer and feed weekly. It may not look all that effective during the warm months (all the feedings), but as the season grows to a close you will be rewarded with showers of blooms.
