The best fruit in the 21st century---American plumcot
Plumcot (Prunus simonii Carr), is a crossbreed species from a plum and an apricot. Its fruits have special redolent flavor, and it has higher sugar content than a plum or apricot. It is very good among the fruit kingdom.

Plumcot has the bio-characters almost the same as plum. Plumcot tree has wine color bark. It has high value, in the American market the selling price of plumcot is $10 per kilo gram, according to the fruit production of each 667 square meters is 2000 kilogram the rewards of each 667 square meters is $20000.  Plumcot can fruit early, according to the experience in China, every single fruit weighs about 80-150 gram, the two year old tree can fruit, and from the fourth year to the twenty-fifth year it’s the flourishing fruiting period of Plumcot tree. In the common condition the fruit can be stored for 15-30 days, when cooled the fruit can be stored 3-6 months.
