The Rain Forest / Excellent Ayahuasca article
February 17, 2006, 07:01:24 PM
Anyone that subscribes to National Geograpic ADVENTURE has probably read this article.
Excellent in-depth story of the writers experience with ayahuasca on a Blue Morpho tour. No drug war propaganda crap, which I thought was a change of pace for such a large media publication. Just open straight forward retelling of the experience.
Also has contact info for the Blue Morpho ayahuasca tour guide, info on the Amazonian Shamanism Conference in Iquitos this summer and an 8 day Ayahuasca Healing conference in Brazil.
I thought it was a damn good read personally, I felt cleansed just readin it.
Check it out
online at  nationalgeographic.com/adventure   or
http://www.nationalgeographic.com/adven ... /peru.html
click the   "Adventure Guide:Peru"  tab at the bottom for all of that contact info.
Cheers!

Avery, I'm keeping my ears out for an untranslated recording, I wouldnt mind having one, now that you've piqued my interest.
After some meditation on the subject, I decided to hold onto my recordings, so Tobacco seed is my only trade for now.
I'd be happy to send backups of any album from the collection, free to anyone interested though!
Still open to any trades on seed
And Senorsalvia, appreciate the welcome !

You drive a hard bargain there Avery  :D  Thats not something I have, but it is an interesting request. Do you know of a recording like that out there ?

I have Tibetan Ritual Orchestra and Chants , its a 1973 recording of three rituals at Khampagar Monastery. The first is dedicated to Padmasambhava who brought buddhism to Tibet, the second and third rites are to Mahakala, who removes the impediments to enlightenment.

I have a disk on Tibetan Meditation, with a few chants, the translated Book of the Dead, and a pdf file of Timothy Learys psychedelic manual based on the Book of the Dead.

Also that might be interesting, I have audio of Terence Mckennas History Ends in Green, ShamanIam, and Ayahuasca.
Adam Gottlieb:   Peyote and other Psychoactive Cacti.pdf           Psilocybin Producers Guide    Encyclopedia of Legal Psychoactive herbs.pdf
Albert Hoffman:    Lsd and Nature of Reality (audio) Transmitter Receiever (audio)
Golden Guide, Hallucinogenic Plants.pdf
Howard Marks: Mr Nice (audio)
Jonathan Otts : Pharamacotheon (audio)
Michael Starks : Mj Chemistry.pdf
Mel Franks : Growers Guide
Graham Hancock : Fingerprint of the Gods (audio)
Grow Dutch : documentary video
Ayahuasca Chants, Icaros from Amazonas     17 tracks
Ayurveda, mother of all healing arts
Musica tradicional del Peru, region de ayachuco and sierra de lima
Festivals of Nepal
Traditional Native American music

Doesn't have to be a trade to get one or two of the books from me. Just ask, be happy to email something thats not too large.

Hi All,
New to this forum, new to the idea of producing ethnobotanicals.
I'm looking for seeds/cuttings of most anything

In trade, I have many seeds of Nicotiana Rustica and a varietal called "rose tobacco" that is consumable, but mostly ornamental with large bright flowers.
Audiobooks of Carlos Castaneda:
Yaqui Way of Knowledge,
A Seperate Reality,
Active Side of Infinity.
Also text documents of Evasive Mysteries from Magical Blend Magazine,
Energetics of the Astral Body,
The Fire From Within

Also for trade, many other audiobooks, and ebooks dealing with topics from early human civilizations, mythology, peyote and mescaline , mushrooms, cultivation books from Mel Frank  Greg Green  Ed Rosenthal, as well as a large library of indigenous music and field recordings.

These include *many* titles from the Alan Lomax field recording series, recordings from Library of Congress, Early Native American music, recordings of ayahuasca chants from the amazon, tibetan rituals, traditional recordings from Peru/Tibet/Pakistan/Afghanistan/India
Haiti(Voodoo rituals)/Polynesia

For those really interested in producing Nicotiana, I do have seeds for many types such as Burley, Virgina Gold, Havana etc, but cant remember where I stored the seeds ! Ask and I'll try to dig them up

Most interested in Papaver, Salvia, Kratom, Hoodia,
But open to most anything interesting .
