The Trade Winds / New Yage.nl Supplier Website
June 23, 2008, 09:25:54 AM
Dear Ayahuasceros and Apprentices,

For the past year we at Maya Ethnobotanicals have been working hard at developing our new online ordering system, and are proud to announce the first of our many new websites:

- Yage.nl   //http://www.yage.nl
As Ayahuasca and the other shamanic plants from the Amazon are so varied, we decided to create a whole new website just for them. This allows us to focus on these Amazonian plants more effectively offering you, the customer, a shopping experience dedicated entirely to you and your interest in these special plants.

We have worked hard to improve the category browsing, allowing faster access to product pages and have added many new features including:

* storing favourite items, and emailing your favourite list to friends
* sampling incense and other aromatic products before buying
* viewing previous order history
* easy access to newly restocked products, and new product lines
* massive amazonian plant article library, and links directory

With Yage.nl you get the same excellent service provided by Maya, and gain access to specific Ayahuasca plants, aswell as a wide variety of other ethnobotanicals and related plants from the South and Central American Amazon and Mexico regions.
If you have an interest in Ayahuasca, or the culture from which it stems, you will certainly find something of interest on the new, Yage.nl.

To celebrate the opening, we are pleased to be able to offer a special price (a full 25% reduction) on four of our most popular and praised Ayahuasca products. Check it out and grab yourself a bargain before it all disappears!

Chacruna, leaves (3) whole
Chaliponga, leaves (8) whole]
Ayahuasca, *White* vine (4) shredded
Jurema, inner rootbark (14) finely powdered

We also would like to highlight and promote a new CD we offer, named "Boomerang Dream", produced by my friend Avi Adir. While listeing to this wonderful music, you will smell the desert wind and hear the sound of the bamboo flutes and float into a deep trance relaxation, taking you into a wonderful dream. Highly reccommended!

If you are an existing customer of Maya Ethnobotanicals you will be able to login to the Yage.nl site immediately using your existing login details for Maya. We would then suggest that you try and order through Yage.nl where possible, as you will be sure to be getting the very best price and latest special offers on all Ayahuasca and related products.

So feel free to have a good look around, play around with the new features, and do let us know what you think. You're feedback is welcome and very much appreciated as we strive to refine and improve our products and services.

Welcome to Yage.nl and enjoy!

At your service,

M. de Graaf

So there is actually a CAPTCHA built into phpBB already, but it seems its not great and easily bypassed. This being the case Ive implemented a better one which seems less likely to be over ridden by spam bots.

If someone could test this out for me just to make sure registration is still possible I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Andy

So could you do me a favour and try this one last time by visiting the gallery ? .. If you see a "login" link at the top and try and login and still dont have any luck let me know what error you get or exact issue is.

Thanks,

Andy

Hi Avery,

The basic problem would be you're not logged into the correct site. Just check the URL in your browser and make sure it starts with "www.spiritplants.org" and NOT spiritplants.yage.net when viewing the gallery. You need to login to the main site from www.spiritplants.org and then view the gallery from the same domain.

If thats not the case then please manually change the URL in your browser to be the correct one which should help.

Avery, this is the page you should be logging into for the gallery:

//http://www.spiritplants.org/phpbb/login.php?redirect=cpg_redir.php

Once you login there it should redirect you to the gallery. If you are already logged into the main site though you wont need to login to see the gallery. You may however need to clear any cookies you have for the site and try it all again though if it continues to cause you problems.

Incase you were using old bookmarks this is the location of the gallery:

//http://www.spiritplants.org/phpbb/gallery/

Hope that helps,

Andy

Dergheist, that should be working okay for you now. Slight glitch with the redirection when trying to login to the gallery. I just uploaded something now and it seemed to work fine.

Okay JRL. Theres a chance that they are gone, but I would be able to get them back from the site backups if need be. I'll give it a while and see if there is anything else that comes up.

The Site / Server Offline
October 29, 2005, 11:57:04 AM
Incase anyone was wondering what happened the forums yesterday, the server had to be taken offline to have the harddrive replaced. It went on a bit longer than expected but everything is fine now.

If you notice any weirdness or problems let me know.

There was a slight issue with permissions which has since been corrected and all now seems to be working just fine.

Have fun.

Okie, so Ive tweaked the settings a bit and hopefully increased the limits on uploading and fixed any issues that there were with the gallery. If someone has a specific problem please let me know what exactly it is and I'll check into it again.
