The Garden / Re: Miracle Berry plant cuttings?

I got some jade plant cuttings off a friend's jade plant. Don't know how to get them started. I have a couple in water and a couple in soil. Will that work?

The Garden / Re: question about poppy seeds

I ate a hot dog with poppy seeds on the bun on Wednesday and I had to take a drug test today (Friday) for a federal job that I currently work for. I heard that poppy seeds can falsely cause you to fail a drug test. Is this true? Now I'm worried about losing my job over a hot dog.

The Garden / laurel hedging

Laurel is a strenuous time tested securing flower with large shiny results in. Laurel trees are excellent as a testing or comfort protect and can be easily trimmed in springtime or overdue summer, they will eventually develop to around 6m (20ft) if left untrimmed. Laurel's do withstand questionable areas but choose sun to partially colour.

The Garden / Re: american ginseng plant

I have grown a ginseng plant in my conservatory from a 3 inch plant in a ceramic pot to a 6 foot bush. Is it possible to place it outside in a planter and is it hardy enough to survive a Scottish winter?
