Yeah, I got kick/banned twice (from DNA) because I was idling for an hour or so.... Worked it out with the dude who did it and he did it again. Said he forgot conversation because he was drunk. Whatever.

I'll see what I can do J. Try downloading that TOR Bundle and running that. It just puts TOR and Firefox in a bundle and sets it all up for you. You should then be able to get in, in the mean time. Hit me up it you have trouble with it.

New things happening at Spiritplants.... please feel free to make suggestions (reasonable ones ;-)) and we will do what we can.

PKeffect is at the controls and I am just co-piloting since I'm "studying the job market" again.

Added Cenacle as an Admin....
Added JRL, Syd, and Judih as global mods.

As far as I'm concenrned, people do have to participate (post) now and then to keep a status. In fact, as far as I'm concerned, mods should help their own forums out by posting something relevant to hopefully inspire others to post.

We have been around a long time now but if people don't use the board, it could go away.... last thing I want to see.

BTW-  Check out the lo-fi version.... it won't automatically detect if you browse the site with a smartphone (for example) yet, but, if you click the link at the bottom of the page that says "WAP2", you got your mobile Spiritplants...... woooooot!

I'll let you know who all the donors are (or were up till last winter). Judih is one (got your poetry book Judih and I love it), and she should probably be a global mod since she does participate more than most, last I looked. There are others too that I will have to point out as I recall.

Good to see you all are still around. Place looks excellent and I see a long future for SpiritPlants and family.

This place is like no other..... like an essential weed that cannot be stopped.

If anyone has any ideas for what we can do for the donors, let's hear them. Either a tag saying they have supported the site or maybe even their own forum for discussing whatever, get their input in how the site should be run or how it should look... anything along those lines is what I am thinking. I am open to any ideas tho.

Yeah Google Checkout looks like it is more of a pain to setup than the alternatives.

Cash or money orders can work fine if people wrap (say cash) in a regular 8x11 piece of paper, tri-fold it and put it in there. I can keep track of who pays me by sending cash or by PayPal and I don't keep any large amounts of money in PayPal so, I doubt they would take it away.

We only need 90Euros to cover next year so, we already have $30 and with a few more donations like that, we will be done for this year. This doesn't have to be complicated or take a lot of time.

I will make another thread to list the donors.
