Can anyone tell me if Neem oil can/should  be used pure or diluted on Salvia leaves.

Thanks

Hi Hyakitaki

QuoteI can't explain it it's like anxiety being destroyed by personal strength

I would say that I'm a reasonably confident person, and reasonably in touch with the people I work with (i.e. students).  After a wickedly massive tincture experience, I found that I had this subtle sense of extra confidence and closeness (a very quiet but strong confidence) with students for a few months afterwards.

I believe it has the potential to be magical, no doubt about it!

Cheers,

About 6 or 7 years ago I went to visit a friend who had moved to live in Belgrade.  It was just between the two terrible wars.  The place was falling into disrepair due to the fact that the economy was basically knackered.

I knew that Nikolai Tesla was born there, and that his house had been turned into a museum, so my friend and I went to seek it out.  We found this huge old house, which was in darkness and all closed up.  I was going to walk away because I presumed that it had closed down due to what was happening.  I decided however to give a feeble ring of the bell before walking down the steps to the street, kind of disappointed.

Then the door opened and this young man answered - He invited us in and put all the lights on.  He then proceeded to give Maria and I a guided tour.  He switched on all the electrical apparatus so that we could experience all the amazing inventions he had constructed.  Huge Van De Graaf generators that lit up fluorescent lights we held up, brass eggs that would do the impossible and rotate and stand up on their thin end.  We were given free run of the place to read all the letters he had written and received from other scientists such as Einstein.

The most fascinating thing was a letter he had written to another scientist about this feeling he had that something was wrong with his mother.  She was desperately ill in Belgrade, and he was working in America.  He got straight on a ship and reached her a couple of days before she died.  There had been a letter in the post to him, but it was going to take 3 weeks  to reach him.  They crossed over in transit!!  If he had waited for the letter, he would have been too late (it still sends nice shivers down my spine to think about it).  He was definitely tapped in to other communication channels.

Interestingly, most of the old 'great' scientists (Newton, Galileo, Descartes and etc.) were just as much mystics as well as hard line scientists. Only history has recorded only what some people [wonder who?] considered to be the the less contentious facets of their life!! (although thankfully now the orthodox physics is being called into question, and metaphysics explored more sympathetically)

What a really amazing experience for me.  I think he was probably the most turned on scientist around!!

Hi VividHazE

That wasn't a rant - it was a lovely concise description of the weird world of Salvia - so please keep them coming.

I think this is a topic which will run and run (and of course it wends its way through so many other threads).  So often we want to articulate the learnings made whilst exploring Salviaspace - if only to make sure we don't forget them.

From a personal perspective, I know that with other major psychedelics I can have insights, but 8 hours later when the trip is over they are gone, and I don't feel desperate to recall them, although I know they were important.   With Salvia, I think the eerieness somehow attaches to the insight and I feel it haunting me.

Dergheist's suggestion about 'listening' without listening is a really nice piece of wisdom.

Hi VividHazE

I've had voices as well (young children singing to me), but only on fairly big doses.  They seem to come from deep within, and reflect what I fear!

What I find particularly eerie is not the voice, but the strange presence.  This happens at any dose.

Certainly keeps me on my toes.  Might be a good idea to have a recorder playing and verbalise what's being said - it's all too easy to forget.
