i am not sure how salvia works chemically in the brain, it seems to be the exception to the rule, but if it works on the boosting the serotonin receptor (with meletonon, 5 meoDMT and DMT being close related family members) like other phycedelics, it should decrease sexual desire.

now this is interesting, and gets philisophical. the pineal gland in the centre of the head is like the brains sexual organ. stimulate enough, as in a case of say someone do blissfull meditation(call it brain foreplay), living in a dark room, someone on phycedelics or someone experiencind a NDE, it actually grows larger and sythesises/edjaculates those holy pineal chemicals (i am sure you can pick up on the analagy. if not think!). the rule is that when the pineal gland or spiritual sexual organ, as i have sometimes heard it being refered to, is enlivened, our physical sex drive is lowered; when the upper increases, the lower decreases. i am trying to think of other comparisons - etheric orgasm over physical orgasm.

drugs that work on the noradrenaline or norapifaline neurotransmitter, such cocaine and nicotine, should increase sexual desire. note that noradrenaline is yang/masculine/active. serotonin is like it's opposite twin, yin/femenine/calming.

i am wanting to read more on how salvia functions chemically. if you know any good sources, please let me know.

thanks for that. now i am just waiting for my leaves to arrive.

i'm thinking, why not just soak the ground salvia in ethanol until it evaporates (have large suface area) to the required level; using the element of time instead of heat if you see what i mean. although not instant, it would be simpler than making a cup of tea.

'when the sage smoke.......other space for the magician to.'

my thoughts exactly. very wise, i could not agree more. i am excited to try your tincture method. hopefully it works. i once bought an expensive salvia tincture. i only experienced a mild effect after consuming 2/3rds of the bottle, way over the recomended dose (and my mouth burned like the very fires of hell. i wish i had known the 'slick trick')...i was very sad not to experiece the lady in full clarity. i felt decieved, not besaged. i will persevere though.

i do not wish to smoke it as i feel it could be to much of a cosmic cliff hanger experience and again i could miss out. it seems much of a hit and miss method.

question: can one step around the microwave method and say boil the contents instead? i do not like the idea of using a microwave. i am not familiar at all with producing a tinture, so forgive my ignorance.
