FYI - if thats the callibre of people that are coming here I won't wait to be booted off the boards. I'll find somewhere with OPENMINDED people who are willing to discuss sacred plants regardless of the genus.

Laughing Willow - Your a sanctimonious, rude git.

So you discriminate against plants do you? I thought this was "Spirit PLANTS" boards. Isn't the genus cannabis sativa (and indica) a spirit plant? Hasn't it been used for 1000's of years even to the present day as a religious sacrement?

Perhaps you'd rather Muslims didn't come here or homosexuals. Same difference really.

I am interested in all psychoactive plants and believe they all have a purpose. I came here to these boards to discuss such.

Basically your telling me to F-%£ off elsewhere as my thoughts and opinions and questions are not as valid as your own.

Thats nice and friendly of you, very welcoming!! Stick that in your pipe and smoke it MON!! You patronising sod.

... or someone from the Netherlands, Canada, Switzerland or even California??

There are places I am aware of where people can legally grow plants and talk about it without fear of persecution.

Nothing, they're still growing, flowering again and one has a small seed pod appearing.

Quote from: "JRL"I think my psychedelic ranger days are in the past, but I never say never.

Set and setting my friend, as I have got older the time and the place become the deciding factor. I have several mature peyote. I know what they are capable of and the possible impact that will have on my psychology. Im not going to do that to get off my face, Im going to do that to get that "spiritual" experience, tap into the secret knowledge, achieve buddha mind.

It has to be the right time, place, people or it wont have its intended effect.

When I was 21 I would take anything, anytime, anywhere. Not now. Thats the difference I think. Not that your ranger days are over, more that you know whats out there (courtesy of the sacrements) and your simply being more choosy.

Back in the day I'd trip on anything. Not now, only in a naturally occuring form for its historically intended purpose.

So, with all that in mind is there any wonder we indulge so infrequently.

I have to be honest, the reason I got interested in sacred cactus is for the effect mescaline has/had on my psychology. However, the longer I have had my 3 big peyote the less I want to harvest them. Im told they will grow back if done right but it still doesn't seem right. Thats the reason for getting into growing. After a few years I find I am quite into it, a bit like an obscure nerdy hobby.

Here is one of my potted williamsi. I am interested in Peyote, San Pedro and Peruvian Torch and grow them from seed. Looking to exchange hints and tips.
