For sure.
What gets me is the insane look that is always in the eyes of his wife.
Anyone else notice that stark not quite right look as if she is jacked up on something?

The problem is the pot is too large so the soil doesn't dry out quick enough.
When I first started growing SD I used pots that size or maybe even slightly smaller with horrendous results. Then I switched to about a  3 inch pot and had no problems. If you do this and wait for her to get root bound, then only move her up to the next size pot, do this  or times and then you can pot her in a barrel if you like and she won't complain at all.
SD likes to get a good solid root ball and feel the sides of the pots for some reason.

You really want the soil to dry out well in 4- 5 days.

Just thought I would make the concluding post concerning the seed grown kratom.
The seed grown Mitragyna Speciosa seedlings that survived seem to be out of the danger of the damping off disease.

Not really....the rainy season takes care of that.
I do use a garden hose to spray them in summer when it is like 40C and doesn't rain for weeks on end.

The happy Blosser family.
Happy untill the typhoons start to come in and then winter sets in.

Oh, will I ever get them to flower in these conditions.
I long to see the flowers first hand.

Sorry about the gigantic pictures!

I recently switched to Linux and am still working out the photo shop type program in it.

The seed grown Mitragyna Speciosa are starting to grow quickly since 25C has become the minimum temperature & humidity rises in the rainy season.

Veins do seem to be slightly red.

Here you go Shiney.
Not very large in comparison but they have started to grow a bit more since the temps hit 25c.

How are yours doing Stoney?
I noticed that mine were starting to get pale and finally worked out that with the increasing daylight time, I was giving them too many hours of extra light with the fluro. Knocked the total back down to 16 hours and they got their color back.

Mmm, seems that Mitragyna Speciosa seeds retain their viability a little more than I thought.
Five days ago, I sowed the remaining pod of seeds I had which I received in February 3 months ago, I just looked and most of them have germinated.
Seeds germinating 3 months on.

Seedling at 3 months. Roll on summer.

I think that is normal for the rate of growth of M speciosa.
Mine did not have their tru leaves for around a month or so and even now they are growing very slowly.
The temp and humidity are major factors in the growth rate and 25c seems to be when they start to grow quickly.
