what doesn't kill ye makes ye stronger... it is rare that I get ill, but when I do...I generally let nature take her course....last time was ill...I didn't take anything to augment anything....I stilled was better quicker than the people I work with...it usually takes them a week to two weeks before they are healthy again...usually takes me 2 to 3 days to be healthy again...each to their own....I think its important to find a diet SUITED to you, the individual...as everyone is different...of course, this is all based on personal experience and speculation.....

oh yes there would be.. GOOD "foreign" food that one can order online...

Quoteit's the perfect setup really... they sell you the fast food lifestyle, hook you on fat and sugar (ever see Supersize Me?), get you fattened up really nice... then sell you the weight-loss pills, diet plans, exercise bikes you'll never use... maximum profitability

ingenious one might say...
and if the organic/bio food is in on the same scam processed food companies are....
make "food" with tonnes of different ingredients...
then 10/20 yrs down the road...
convince them its no longer very healthy for them,
and begin to sell "bio" food for double or triple the price

if anyone is in the wrong about obesity it would have to be the media who sell us items/product using commercialized humans, or unrealistically sexy women/men....

QuoteWhen asked what next/ a bias against the obese worker; the employer said that 'possibly that would be addressed in the future

nah, I think they would target us extreme leftist tree huggin hippie commie red bastards before obesity...as we are a threat to the religious movement known as american patriotism, being all anti-war and whatnot...makes one feel all warm and fuzzy inside..

QuoteThe bigger the scene gets the more our message gets projected, we have a chance to shout at the moment, if we dont take it I fear things will get worse. Seems there are several ways to work, first if its safe you can protest your rights! Secondly if its not safe the shamans of mexico and america durng the spanish inquisition had to go underground so to speak. Hiding, stay alive and let the universal message pass through that way, so that it may fight another day. Like now, like when we can fight...fight!

I think the internet will be the most valuable tool, both as a means of connection and as a means of exchanging mediums, music and otherwise...is it possible to setup independant internet service provider? maybe would be a good idea to purchase those rights or property or whatever for unforseen circumstances?? just a couple thoughts..

Its motivating to hear this come from others...

Grof's obsession with prenatal development has never made any sense to me. But then again, I was a cesarian birth, so what the f**k do I know?

Hehe .
I don't know if Grof writes about it somewhere, I havent noticed it yet (I am sure he does take up the subject though), but it would be interesting to see what he has to say about cesarian birhts.

....and what about babies who have lived in incubators for the first little while of their lives......

good read...hopefully you got that proofread a few times  :D

QuoteFurthermore, attempts to maintain a positive control of the experience, in this model, would ultimately be counter-productive to progressing along the entheogenic path.

in my mind, its like trying to control a dream....the message or lesson would be completely lost....

you friend's experience rings in my head as a spirit or entity that entered while he was vulnerable...

QuoteAre there not problems with echinacea?
A friend of mine used to take it on a regular basis but stopped after hearing that while it can temporarily boost the immune system, it can also cause damage to this delicate mechanism.

indeed, as with any "drug" allowing the body to become accustomed with the extra "shot" echinicia and others give for the immune system, the body will become dependant on it and in the end be weaker without it...although, perhaps the system can regenerate with time....

I would suggest trying to find a propolis echnicia mix and take a bit once a day or so for a couple days...after which time, allowing it to do "its thing"...

you can also be all "buddhist" about it all and "become one" with the virus..."feel" the illness for all its worth....

I eat healthy food daily  :P
