Thanks for the explanation.

Btw, do you really think we (humans) didn't originate on this earth?

To clarify, my description spoke of 'the elements' not being of natural evolution on earth, not us.
Sorry if this was unclear.

Speaks of pollutants like pesticides and elements which are laboratory created and have a very long half-lives.

Yet your question is quite intriguing and should be a discussion topic.

What is the dream?

This dream, to me,  is the metaphorical representation of a way of life. One that can make a lifestyle, how to say, perhaps,  xenobiotic.

A word depicting the false or simulated natural elements created by us. Us humans, the creators, being naturally from here make these elements natural in turn, *yet these elements are not of origin, or did not evolve, from this biota (earth). They are mere products of our 'playing gods' and are not necessarily improvements to our planet.

In this sense our xenobiotic ways end up with the destruction of our host's balance ; earth's balance, call it what you will.

Im sorry but I not to use to being asked questions about what words in a poem mean.
Usually just a flow, we all have our own depictions of the dream.

I'm not fond of this bands other material, yet this one song speaks for itself, the music empowering a great voice.
I admire her passionate expression.

ENJOY!

Lyrics: Hard to translate russian intent to english I guess.

Mimes of immortal Idols

Stop eternity, truth is blind!

From a reality in baseness

I'm running
With prayer about life raising to an own shrine

You look in a deep, in a veil of the dreams

And in this oblivion of soul, in gray life confusion

Mimes of immortal Idols will revive in a mind
Where is the essence of this world?

A soul has been forgotten in spurious reality

Stop eternity, truth is blind!
I'm running from a reality in baseness
In madness of night you see, how the old maid
Will beckon you on the specified way

But still again, having started, you will escape of this confine

And reminiscence will raise that terrible essence

As creeping serpent, touching invisible roots
You had fallen in a void-like being of invisible darkness

And here you're alone on open spaces of an immemorial shrine

And in thoughts you will remember that has been sealed out by man
Where is essence of this world?

A soul has been forgotten in spurious reality

Stop eternity, truth is blind!
From a reality in baseness, I'm running
You thirst fire in a cold life
That dies during this instant

And again you will be shrouded by darkness –
Fear before death by oblivion
And at the crossing these roads

Dream will silent by sorcery
You will see the world of the dead

You're in embraces of Mary Idol
Stop eternity, truth is blind!

From a reality in baseness
I leave...

As the light moved aside, for winds of chill,

We sung and became still.

Thoughts coming to our ever dominant ego's,

Summoned by their robotic drill,

Drowning in derivative pills.

Reinstate our mother's faith.

Less of the hustle, the bustle.... the path to total disregard for our loss.

Over our shoulders.

If only we could see, left behind, our foot prints made of decaying, plaguing, ignorant, belligerent ruins.

Rewind, remember, remind the populace they've been led astray.

We just may, wish a mighty storm, to brew a cure for the long forgotten.

Awaken, this dream wasn't meant to last.

Manzarek was a true band leader and writer, the personal traits of a humble one too.

I remember when I met him, I was 16, it was backstage a show he did with a Frisco beatnick poet, they toured some cities in North America
that year.

Spoken word 'a la' Lizard King with Ray's splendid finger work creating a heavenly realm of serenity and groove, utopic atmosphere for anyone's words.

Calm, soft spoken, bright and funny.

Will always remain in hearts and his music will live forever.

Thanks for posting!

Hey Judih,

Glad to hear that you are well.

I just recently thought of getting back to spiritplants ( old username: white shadow of damp lands) to see how all was going,  and thankfully your safe.

How's the art going?

In light!
