Thanks for the heads up. Btw, we didn't post hot links at the old spf, but even there, a company could be discussed.

I have the castings. Still looking for instructions on a gentle ratio for a nitrogen tea.

I don't think you can really go wrong, lw. People use the castings as a major component for soil with good results. It apparently is not something harsh that needs to be broken down or anything.

Thanks, mon.

I'm not worried about a harshness, per se, but rather ph. And I'm not looking to add anything concentrated; just a nice little hit of N.

So, maybe a tea made from a cup of castings/gal-o-water?

That doesn't sound too harsh. But then, you could fill a thimble with what I know of worm castings. The stuff is supposed to be chalk full of micronutrients and beneficial micro organisms.

Let us know how well it works for ya.

sounds like you need a PH tester really, then you mix whatever you
want, test it and adjust with "ph up" or "down"

you cant go wrong with worm castings, I put 20% worm castings in my
potted plant mixtures, the other 80% "pro-mix" or similar mix
