Title: The TV-drama Lost
Post by: Green2Herman on August 26, 2005, 02:44:21 AM
We got Lost here at the TV-session before summer.  In one of the early episodes the one that used to be in weelchair (one kidney) feeds Boone an entheogenic ground-growing vine that gives him vision and put him in connection with the island.

Do anyone have theory for which plant this is?

I bet it is a tropane plant due to the delerious nature of his visions.  Want to know what happens I can spoil the show for ya.

No dont tell me. I think its rather good. And I also like that the trend their popular culture picks up mystic themes.

There are some amazing aspects to this series that keeps me watching but also some awful bits...hollyood has ruined it...man they've all fallen out of a plan but somehow they still manage to put there makeup on !!!  And last episode i saw some guy in the camp got killed,..instead of it being one of the existing characters they kinda made up this new guy just so none of the main characters got killed...was lame to the extreme!

On the good side there's many possibilities that the series could go down and many levels on which it could work...as VB says though..its moving sowly..kinda dangling the bait but little substance.

Booosh

Heh, guess you haven't watched recent episodes....

One of the two or three shows I actually follow.  Some episodes are better than others, but it works rather well, I think, to keep the viewers addicted....
