yeah well, I had my appointment with my doc today and I told him the meds for depression were working really well... He saiys "ah how wonderful" yadda, yadda. Then he ups my dosage by 100% / gives me a script for a 90 day stash/// Ok, I just had to wonder; why, if the meds a doing exactly what was the intended outcome, the why double dose me??? (guess he's on a kickback scheme to some whoremonger pharms supplier) That's all I can figure.... Then I ask him if he had researched Salvia like I had suggested. He says yes.. Just yes nothing else... I asked him if he had looked at the pub-med articles , or read Seiberts site.. He says, "well lets see if we can pull that up on google". He googles Salviia, and up comes Daniels site... He punches the link, and a government bunch of crap came on , saying that entry into that site is restricted!!! So he shrugs and tells me some links are resticted by the guvmit.. I ask him if he had ever taken the hippocratic oath..His eyebrows made some really cool deep furrows.. I asked him if he was restricted to published scientific papers, then how the hell can he be apprised of any new medical information... He tells me the guvmit sends him what they have compiled.... So I ask him,,, Are you telling me that big brother literally decides what knowledge you may be exposed to"??? He starts looking real uncomfortable... he goes "Well, its certainly not like , I mean, uh"... I stand up and glance at my watch " well I've got an important meeting to attend; and oh by the way, I need you to prescribe to the V.A that I recieve a pill cutter, as those pills I need to take halves of taste like shit when I have to bite them apart "..... Leaves a bad taste in my mouth, like when a doctor is restricted from medical information" :wink: :roll: ==== I literally let him sitting there with head down and staring at the floor :lol: --- I mean after all he was just an intern already getting caught up by 'da man, and I had called him on it.... Who the hell knows, maybe he'll dump Guvmit work for some honesty and integrity in hos chosen proffession.... senorsal

Yeah, if Microsoft will cooperate with Chinese gubmint web filters, I'm sure they work with ours. My employers asked me about web use logging/blocking software. I convinced them it was too expensive and had too high a performance hit. Good to be the fox in the henhouse, sometimes.
I've heard people asking now and then if Spiritplants might be watched by the man. We are most likely blocked by their computers. hahahhaha.

I n the 60s, when I read about the FBI keeping illegal files on American activists, I wrote to J. Edgar Hoover and asked him to open one in my name 'cause I'd be happy to be in such illustrious company.
I suspect some sympathetic agent/secretary tossed it out, since the gubmint gave me a fairly high-level security clearance some years later. The clerk from battalion HQ who processed my paperwork was my good bud-buddy Larry: his full initials (same as his father and gramps) were LSD; he always initialed paperwork real big... LSD III
The only comment on my approved clearance was a direct instruction to Larry to use only first and last name initials on all future forms: they didn't want any LSD on their paper!
Larry was a good security clerk: he enlisted to avoid time for grand theft auto :lol: but everytime he went home on leave, he came back with a different car... :shock:

At the VA they prolly hand the diagnosis out at the door...
I had a doc once tote up my major stressors for the previous year. As I rattled off the tally of deaths, illnesses, divorce, loss of employment, changes of residence, injuries, and more, she became immediately concerned about whether or not I had developed suicidal ideation.
"Do you think I should?" I asked in all innocence...didn't want to let her down 8)
"Nightmares?"
"Depends on how you define the word 'nightmares', doc..."

Speaking of the VA; It's supposed to pour down rain tommorow and ace me outta work, so I have decided to spend the day with the VA and get on 'em about a claim I put in a few yaers ago for disability... I'm goin for a 'mental incapacity determination'... Since I'll prolly need alot of supporting documentation uh, guess I'll have'ta supeona all you good folks to attest to my depths of my mental morass :lol: --------- sal
Be glad to be a witness, although I do not know if I am fit as a witness, with all that previous history of padded cells and such in my books. At least I made the doctors into patients before I left.
