So you got any info on whats happening with him? I've thought he hasn't looked well at all for the last 10 years or so, aged fast even by rock star standards.
Just rumors. Some say its a back problem, others that it's a substance abuse problem maybe caused by pain meds.
I'm guessing you have seen the vid of Bobby taking a tumble while performing awhile back?
I did see that, a slow motion fall. Back problems are really tough for a musician. A guy like my who moves his own gear is really vulnerable.

One rumor has it that Bobby got a bit fresh with a waitress in Nevada before a show and ended up canceling the gig and leaving the state post haste.
