Title: Intestinal Blockage
Post by: Tabs on September 24, 2014, 01:55:18 PM
My tummy hurts and I refuse to see a doctor because doctors only seek to kill off old dudes like me.
I drink lots of liquids and honey.  I try to stretch and twist.
What else can I do?

There are lots of things that help. Taking magnesium will help, any type of magnesium and it helps bring calmness and better sleep as well. More fiber is good too.

liquids? like what?
honey? who says it's so wonderful?

you can drink water. No food for a day. That'll somewhat clean out your system.
then, you can go on a food exploration.

you could eat only plain brown rice for a day or two. (has to be brown - whole grain). See if you feel better.
If so, add one kind of food (like salad, or cooked greens). See how you feel.
If you feel okay, add something else.

could be you're reacting to a food that should be outa your diet.
could be something else entirely. But at least you can check your food intake, ruling out stuff.

If nothing changes, you might be forced to see a dr.
or go online and do a search at Dr. Fuhrman's site. He's got lots of fine advice. (He's a nutritarian - proponent of maximum nutrition per mouthful)

stretching is great. walking is excellent - gets the blood system flowing, your muscles working easily.
or tai chi - great inner massage

good luck, tabs

someone told me honey lubricates the intestinal track.

i dunno what it is, i think there is some cheese stuck in there.
i ate a big chunk of extra sharp cheddar with some crackers and then took a long nap afterwards.

or maybe i have a tumor, i dunno, but this is the second time i've had a blockage.  it hurts.

think it might be getting better though.  the pain seems to be shifting lower and lower, like it's trying to roll out of me, but it's sticky and hard to budge.

Yesterday i ate a few peanuts with the shells on!   now there's some fiber!
tried fasting for 24 hours but i starvin' too much.

Yeah, try that and let us know if it works.

Draino actually works on intestinal blockage, you just need a tiny amount.
It's just lye and salt.  dissolves fat.

see how that works?
