It seems Apple's new items will be constructed in such a way that Apple itself will no longer be able to access it from without, making it impossible for them to comply with law enforcement warrants. It seems Apple has taken a stand in favor of their customers rather than politicians. Let's see how far this goes before Congress passes a law forcing Apple to build shit so that they can access it. Not that that would be constitutional, but it's never stopped them before.

I agree its a very good thing. It also shows that people do not trust govt that much and want them to stay out of their business. Otherwise, it would not be a selling point but it is and people will buy it. Congress seems incapable of passing anything now days.
