It has been 7 years since the original five Byrds had been together . . . expectations of this reunion were high, though what resulted was far more country rock '73 than jingle jangle '66 . . . what remains are the great harmonies, wrapping around the electrics & acoustics . . . that these musicians were able to get it together one more time, & put out one more good LP, is testament to a caring they'd never lost for their band or each other . . .
