one dream is just a fragment...a man looking saying 'all i need in this life is my captain, a book, and a boat,' while looking at a small tugboat-like ship...
i have a lot of dreams that are sort of set in the world of the TV show MASH...that was a show back in the 70s, a black comedy set during the Korean War, very funny, sometimes very moving...in any event, there was this soldier, oddly enough a character from the sci fi show Star Trek Next Generation, Lieutenant Barcley, who had pissed off a general and was being put on trial, the whole thing smelling like a sham...and there were Hawkeye and Trapper from MASH walking with others to the trial, and there was an old ruddy faced Catholic priest coming along too, and saying 'mistakes are another path to God's grace,' and there was my friends from Connecticut, Jim and Gerry, themselves recovering Catholics, only Gerry had gone back to the church, and I mocked him, 'you gave up agnosticism for Lent' and he sneered back...
then there was a fragment where i had a tiny golf course flag embedded in the side of my right knee, always had had it there, it was normal in this dream-reality...
