Per Stoney's request:
I managed to get about 100 seeds of this plant through the help of a fellow I know over at The Nook, and the seed got split between he and me and another grower in HI.
I treated mine with varying concentrations of Ga3, and the first seed popped 50 days after sowing. Four have popped altogether.
Three of them struggled along for a while and then went to the great compost bin in the sky when I attempted to pot them up. :-\ The remaining one had the cotyledons rot off due to the seed coat refusing to come off, but the apical meristem was undamaged. It has two tiny true leaves and undoubtedly needs nursing along for a while.
The HI grower had two come up and he tells me the leaves are about 3/4" long now, and about 3" high. Much larger than mine ever got before they kicked the bucket.
The guy I got the seed from has not had any pop at all.
In happier news, about the same time I got the seed, I got my grubby little paws on ten leaves to attempt propagating by leaf cutting. FIVE MONTHS later I finally have shoots coming up. Six of the ten leaves died, but the remaining ones have rooted out strongly, and two of those have shoots now! ;D They're about an inch tall.

Someone got a p.p. cutting and is trying to root it. He posted pics of the flowers and they are amazing.
Hey Stonehenge,
Who is this someone if you don't mind sharing?
I'm trying to think of his name, he is in the other botanicals section of the nook, if that helps you any. There are a few in that thread growing it.
