Hey all,
Recently, I acquired a few Kratom seed pods. They're very small (see the photo for a comparison with a US quarter). Each one seems to hold dozens or even hundreds of tiny seeds. I've planted up a couple of dozen of the little slivers, and now find myself with an embarrassment of riches – far more seeds than I could ever hope to use.
Kratom is notorious for being hard to sprout, and I'll admit that I've had no luck yet. The source even states that a germ rate of 10-20% from these seeds is all that can be expected in a best-case scenario.
This is my third time trying to grow Kratom from seed, with no luck (all from different sources). Perhaps third time is the lucky charm.
Would anyone like to try some? I'm happy to send some out for free, as long as my stamps hold out. Trades are great too, though not necessary. Just shoot me a PM, please.
Still a few left, if anyone's interested! Let me know.

p'm sent.generous offer.
I missed out on such a great offer. Kratom seeds are very hard to come by it seems and aren't always viable.
XandX,
These seeds didn't sprout, despite my best efforts. Judging from their tiny size, I'd hazard that Kratom seeds must need to be days-fresh to be viable.
If you're interested in trying your hand at these, I'll be glad to pass along the source's info. Just shoot me a pm. The seeds were relatively cheap and they seem to be in stock every time I check. I think I'll give it another shot at the end of summer, when the trees might be fruiting.
If anyone happens to know when Kratom flowers/fruits here in North America, I'd appreciate the info.
