Title: Juice!
Post by: anistara418 on November 03, 2011, 01:09:14 AM
I'm into juicing. I love it and if you do too, what blends do you like? I get bored and/or lazy. I use a Breville juicer, I love that thing! I love juicing because I'm skeptical I'll intake the variety of nutrients all in a day.

grape, beet, carrot, apple, cantaloupe! (all, or any combination, or whatever I got in the fridge!)

I haven't worked with greens so much and understand there is a conflict between taking in fruits and leafy greens-- so any juice fasters should be cautious that way as well. I hear it can give some gnarly tummy cramps! Enzyme mix-up?

Who knows? Love this forum, it's new since I was here last, don't ask when , it's a been a few moons!

When I juice I try to buy organic fruits/vegetables. Fennel and grannysmith apples mixed together tastes great. Generally dark greens and sweet vegetables/fruits I use in small amounts.

For example I may use for the bulk of my juice: romaine lettuce and celery, a smaller amount of kale, a carrot or two to sweeten it a little, and a piece of ginger to give it a kick. Occasionally I may add a garlic clove (it has amazing health benefits) but only if I'm not going out hehe
